Why avoid subscriptions
Most people use adult AI tools irregularly. Monthly plans with allowances that expire charge you for idle months. One-time credits flip that: you pay when you create.
Watch the fine print
Some one-time products still offer memberships alongside coins, and allowance credits may expire even when purchased top-ups don't. Read the checkout page. Compare models in pricing guide.
When a subscription is actually better
If you generate every day, flat plans with unlimited basic generations — Promptchan Pro, Venice Pro or GeneratePorn.ai's fixed-term memberships described in its terms — can beat per-use pricing. The no-subscription route is best for bursts.
Fixed-term vs auto-renewing
A fixed-term membership covers a set period and then stops; an auto-renewing subscription continues until cancelled. GeneratePorn.ai's terms describe the former; third-party reviews disagree on whether card memberships renew, so check checkout. Our cancel article covers stopping renewals elsewhere.
Other pay-as-you-go options
A video-tool comparison mentions Nureta with per-clip prices and no subscription, paid in USDC, and Kenerate with credit packs. We haven't reviewed them.
How to compare per-use prices
Convert everything to cost per output: price of the pack divided by the number of images or seconds of video it buys. Our pricing guide walks through it.
